2008 Ian Constable Lecture

The annual Ian Constable Lecture acknowledges the contributions of Professor Ian Constable AO, founding Professor of Ophthalmology at The University of Western Australia (UWA) and Managing Director of the Lions Eye Institute.

As Lions Eye Institute continues it 25th Anniversary celebrations in 2008, we are pleased to announce that this year's lecture will be presented by Associate Professor David Mackey from the University of Melbourne's Department of Ophthalmology. His oration, "The 'I' in Personalised Genetics - Twin studies reveal genetics don't completely control our destiny," promises to be a fascinating oration.

All are welcome to this free lecture. Tickets are available from the Octagon Theatre Box Office at UWA and are essential to gain entry.
