Today LEI's medical and research teams collaborate nationally and internationally in their efforts to prevent and cure blindness and are acclaimed for their cutting edge approach to science.  LEI’s first rate clinical care is enhanced by the quality and findings of our research and some 50,000 patients are treated annually at LEI.  This is a far cry from our humble beginnings when we operated out of two small rooms at Royal Perth Hospital.

The growth in size, productivity and reputation of LEI is testament to the endeavour of the high calibre individuals recruited to work here and the dynamic team environment in which they operate.  Our success is also a reflection of your loyalty and support.
