The Lions Eye Institute was delighted to host the 2022 Ian Constable Lecture, “The evolution of ideas in medicine” at the University of Western Australia’s Theatre Auditorium on Wednesday, 12 October 2022.
It was presented by Professor Thomas W Gardner, from the University of Michigan, USA.
In this free lecture, Professor Gardner examined how we define and name diseases, and the implications for diagnosis and treatment plus a brief Q&A afterwards.
