The Lions Eye Institute annual Visionaries Luncheon was held on Wednesday, 11 September 2024 to thank our valued visionaries and supporters.
Visionaries are people who believe the world is worth seeing and support our aspiration of better vision for all.
The 2024 Visionaries Luncheon was a great success. Our Chief Executive Officer Dr Glen Power provided an introduction and overview of our recent achievements. This was followed by captivating presentations by Associate Professor Hessom Razavi on “Eyes onshore and offshore: meeting the eye care needs of refugees and Indigenous people in Western Australia”, followed by Professor Allison McKendrick on “The future of vision testing: novel measures and how they can lead to better treatments and outcomes.”
