The Lions Eye Institute seeks to create meaningful consumer and community partnerships as a key enabler of improving health care practices, clinical governance, and ensuring that research reflects the interests of people facing visual impairment or blindness.
The Consumer and Community Advisory Panel is a committed group of individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds, who come together regularly to provide feedback to the Institute.
The panel, comprising nine members, gives guidance on issues such as patient experience and accessibility, research proposals and projects, inclusivity, teaching, communications and community events.
