The Lions Eye Institute annual Visionaries Luncheon was held on Wednesday, 3 September 2025 to thank our valued visionaries and supporters.
Visionaries are people who believe the world is worth seeing and support our aspiration of better vision for all.
The 2025 Visionaries Luncheon was a great success. Our Managing Director Dr Glen Power provided an introduction and overview of our recent achievements. This was followed by captivating presentations by: Associate Professor Holly Chinnery on “Watching immunology in the human eye: new insights in eye biology and disease”, followed by Professor Chandra Balaratnasingam on “Using advanced eye imaging to improve the care of childhood diabetes.”
