Use of patient data in research at LEI
The integrity of research is highly dependent on the management and use of patient data, which can be very complex.
For this initiative, you’ll be invited to share your views on topics such as consent processes, how health information is used for research, privacy and data protection and how we communicate with patients about these matters. Your feedback will help guide the development of new forms, policies and procedures to ensure they are clear, respectful and aligned with patient expectations.
We are looking for two to three individuals from a range of backgrounds who are interested in contributing to meaningful improvements in patient care and research. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to share your perspective.
If you’re interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you.
If you feel you would like to learn more about becoming involved with this panel, please reach out to cci@lei.org.au and include the title of the CCI activity in your email.
