Mr and Mrs Sheehan were accompanied by Lions Western Australian District Governors Tim Moore and Peter Kennedy, International Director Tim Irvine, District LCIF Chairman Simon Heales and Lions Save-Sight Foundation WA Chairperson Ambrose Depiazzi. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase our research and clinical service delivery, which was of great interest to our US guests given the historical levels of support and investment contributed to our facilities by Lions Clubs and LCIF.

The various themes of research, including myopia and diabetic retinopathy, were discussed and an overview was given of the Lions Outback Vision services across rural and remote Western Australia.
