Stanford University has recognised eight researchers from the Lions Eye Institute among the top two per cent of scientists globally in 2025.
The Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List is a prestigious annual ranking that identifies the world’s most influential researchers based on citation impact. Developed jointly by Stanford University and Elsevier, the list evaluates scientists using a composite indicator (c-score) that accounts for both career-long and single-year citation performance across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields.
